The MRT Corse team wrapped up its weekend at Cremona Circuit with highly encouraging results and a leading role in the action, as the venue hosted the fifth round of the CIV Italian Speed Championship Supersport 600 class. From the very first practice sessions, the team confirmed the quality of its work, quickly finding the right setup for the Kawasaki ridden by Julio Garcia and Mattia Paolucci. During qualifying, Julio Garcia #84 once again proved to be among the fastest riders in the field, setting an impressive 1:33.174 to secure fifth overall and a place on the second row of the grid. The Spanish rider converted that pace into a strong performance in Race 1, running consistently with the leading group before crossing the finish line in an excellent fourth place, just 2.5 seconds behind the winner. The real show of strength came in Race 2, when Garcia made an aggressive start to take the lead and headed the field for several laps with an outstanding race pace. Unfortunately, an unlucky setback with three laps remaining forced him to retire while he was fighting for victory. It was a weekend of hard work and great determination for Mattia Paolucci #49, who focused on finding maximum feeling with the Lombardy circuit. In Race 1, Paolucci managed the race with maturity, moving up through the field to secure 13th place at the finish. In Race 2, after 16 demanding and fiercely contested laps, Mattia dug deep to maintain his pace all the way to the chequered flag, finishing 16th. MRT Corse leaves Cremona Circuit with the clear belief that the team has the technical and human potential to fight at the front. Julio Garcia's performances in both races demonstrated the competitiveness of the overall package, while Mattia Paolucci's consistent commitment continues to support the team's development work. Attention and energy now turn to Vallelunga Circuit, where the final and decisive round of the season will take place during the second weekend of October. The objective is to end the championship on a high and convert the impressive speed shown on track into a strong final result.

Julio Garcia #84 “It was a weekend in which we demonstrated that we have an extremely high level of potential. In Race 1, we were consistently part of the leading group and came very close to the podium, while in Race 2 the feeling was fantastic: leading the race and staying at the front for several laps confirmed just how fast we were. Unfortunately, the setback with three laps to go cost us an important result, but I’m going home fully aware of our strength. I want to thank the entire team enormously for the incredible work they did on the bike. At Vallelunga, we will give everything we have to finish the season where we deserve to be.”

Mattia Paolucci #49 “It was a demanding weekend in which we worked hard to find the best possible setup. In Race 1, we managed to move up the field and score points with a strong progression. In Race 2, the conditions were more challenging, but I tried to give everything and maintain a consistent pace all the way to the chequered flag. I want to thank all the guys in the team for their support and for the tremendous effort they put in over these days. Now we will focus 100% on the final round at Vallelunga and aim to finish the championship on an upward note.”

Alessandro Antonini –Team Manager “We leave Cremona with the strong awareness that we are extremely competitive and ready to fight for the top positions. Julio had an outstanding weekend: fourth place in Race 1 and leading for many laps in Race 2 demonstrates the level our package has reached. There is obviously some disappointment about the outcome of Race 2, but that is racing, and the outright performance remains beyond question. Credit also goes to Mattia for the commitment and determination he showed in both races. The entire team worked flawlessly. We are looking ahead to the final round at Vallelunga during the second weekend of October with great motivation, where we want to reap the rewards of a full season's hard work.”
